It is strange to talk about leaving the road before I get one day into a new stage. Yet here I am. Beatrice, Nebraska and the completion of Stage 9 is just behind me, by 19 miles. I am wobbling still amidst the dry corn and pleasant green leafed soy beans of Eastern Nebraska. And of course I cannot wait to return and really log in those Stage 10 miles.
