I have often wondered about the source of the thousands of perennial plants, flowers and endless palm trees that are constantly added to lush condominium grounds throughout South Florida. Now I know!
Along route 997 in SE Miami fifty nurseries, tree farms and landscape companies do a steady business supplying greenery that makes even downtown seem so fertile. It is a pleasant site but, to a lonely walker the related truck and car traffic chugging along the narrow two lane highway the views get sparse attention as I concentrate on the difficult and dangerous walking. Be sure I prefer the company of Alligators
