Fortunately, we are still concerned about preserving endangered species. Even in ever growing, mass populous, south Florida.I continue My Dream Walk today trying to reduce the total miles to my end point in Key West. Then, I notice the signs, warning of the endangered Key Deer crossings. I am impressed, and sad. As the population and heavy traffic through the Florida Keys continues, for sure, the Key Deer will be more endangered. I am honored to have had the opportunity to wobble through this space while this endangered fellow is still with us.

Every mile counts so when I check out areas around Key West for my coming finish of course I walk. I start the day in anticipation of again shaving miles of my distance to the end of my wonderful walk.
