Apple Pie Green Leaf

Well sir I have now walked nearly 600 miles along this Florida Historic Trail. No question, it has been a challenge. Oh, some road sections have been a breeze but hos are few and far between. The rest has been tough.
And that is precisely why I have so much respect for through hikers, those going all the way from N to S or in reverse. Their task is a lot harder than mine. Today, as the sun was setting and another big rain storm approached, I stopped the two hikers as they had come off the trail I had just walked in the Etoniah Creek State Forest.
Trail names Apple Pie and Green Leaf are from Boston. Green leaf works in the trees. “There is no tree work in the winter in Massachusetts so that’s when we go on vacation. Now Apple Pie was in the craft business, “I make dolls”. “We are going 10 more miles today, then we will have 20”, Green Leaf said. Well, then the rain came, had, hard, hard.
