At Last Walking Again

My lovely daughter Melissa was married in April. It was a wonderful Brooklyn affair. Sadly, we are now recovering from my sister in law Ruth’s passing away. Joy returned with the birth of a baby girl to my niece Mimi. There was a grand wedding reception again for Melissa but this time in Los Angelis. After a short recovery I made my way today to Spokane, Washington to pick up Stage 7 of my Dream Walk and, Lord willing, continue through to Stage 8.
As the sun sets I begin a 2 mile warm up race walk along the Centennial walk way which trails the turbulent Spokane River as it weaves and bubbles just before crashing over a spectacular waterfall all right in the heart of downtown Spokane. Finally, I ramble through Gonzaga University enjoying the history, tradition and beauty of this lovely university.
