Back on the Farm

“We grow wheat’s mainly. I’ll be going to Colorado State in the fall to study Agri Business”, the attractive summer worker at the converted silent movie theatre told me. “I like living in Llewellyn. We also have an organic farm so I plan to also study more about that science”, she further explained. I of course was delighted to be learning so much about this far away community.

“It’s been so dry lately we have had to harvest the hay early. When we have bugs on the organic side we use DB a natural product to contain them. It’s good to have a summer job”. Refreshed by such a wonderful lunch time conversation I struck off walking again forgetting that the temperature was now 101.
